STS contributes BDT 2.0 million every year to Centre for Women and Child Health (CWCH) in Savar area of Dhaka which offers free health care services to the rural poor to support the overall development of women and children, through improvement in health and nutrition. Besides consultation, the Centre provides procedures and surgeries, pathological tests and investigations, vaccinations, and, normal and caesarian delivery services. In 2011, the Centre has attended to more than 200,000 patients.

The Centre also runs five Eye Camps where patients are treated free every month for cataracts removal and surgeries.

Curricula of both the DPS STS School and the International Schools are designed to educate and sensitize the students on various aspects of social responsibilities in their daily life activities. Environmental awareness is promoted not only through text books but also through various class and personal projects.
