Glenrich International School celebrates Founder’s Day by Dhaka Tribune

Glenrich International School, Uttara recently celebrated Founder’s Day 2026, titled Uttaran, with a grand evening of performances, reflection, and recognition that showcased the vibrant spirit and talent of its school community.

The celebration took place on Thursday evening from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm at the Senior Campus Auditorium, bringing together senior officials, parents, students, and staff.

The program commenced with a Quranic recitation, followed by the School Report presented by Principal Dr Amlan K Saha, who highlighted the institution’s achievements and progress over the past year.

Reflecting on the school’s growth, Dr Saha remarked, “What we witnessed this evening is a true testament to our students’ remarkable talents and dedication. Their performances, creativity, and the sheer joy they brought to this celebration reflect not just their academic excellence but their passion, teamwork, and the vibrant spirit that defines Glenrich. We are also incredibly proud of what our dedicated and committed staff members have done to organize the event successfully.”

Following that, students with outstanding academic and co-curricular accomplishments were recognized and awarded. Adding to the celebratory spirit, students showcased their creativity through art projects and STEAM Carnival displays.

The evening’s cultural segment began at 5:00 pm with a spectacular extravaganza that captivated the audience. A major highlight of the segment was the formation of the largest school orchestra in Glenrich Uttara’s history, featuring 75 student musicians.

The cultural showcase also featured a classical dance recital by the school’s finest dancers, a meticulously curated western choir performance, and a thought-provoking dance drama centered on teenage awareness.

The segment further included a powerful mime on water conservation, followed by a vibrant folk dance medley celebrating Bangladesh’s rich heritage.
